Learn More About All Seasons Spa Covers

Here at All Seasons Spa Covers, we’ve been making spa covers since 1992 in Auburn, CA (a small hill town 30+ miles east of Sacramento, CA). Over the years, employees have come and gone, and we’ve had a few different owners, but one thing has remained the same – a commitment to building high quality spa covers. While many of our competitors build or buy from companies building in Mexico or China, we continue to build them here in CA with US workers (some of whom have been with us as long as 15-years) and US materials. We offer a variety of colors in both vinyl and Sunbrella, and a variety of foam choices and skirt and fasteners configurations and lengths. Our handles are the best in the industry, built to be comfortable to use and durable enough to outlast the cover.

Ordering Covers

The first choice one faces when ordering a cover is the materials to house the foam cores. We offer both Vinyl and Sunbrella materials. Our vinyl is a marine grade vinyl manufactured to withstand years of outdoor use. Our Sunbrella fabrics are manufactured with Color to the Core™ technology. This proprietary process means each foundational fiber is saturated with color and UV-stabilized pigments. Once saturated, the proprietary fiber is spun into yarns which are then woven into our long-lasting performance fabric. Color to the Core™ technology ensures years of beautiful living with color that stays true over time, maintaining the strength and integrity of the fabric through years of cleaning, wear, and exposure to the elements. The choice between the two typically boils down to three criteria: amount of sun exposure on the cover, budget, and aesthetics. As a rule, the Sunbrella material will significantly exceed the life of vinyl when exposed to a high degree of UV light. Also, many people prefer the look and feel of the cloth material Sunbrella offers, with multiple colors that pop. However, the material does come at a premium, as the material costs is 5 times greater than vinyl. The choice is yours, but either way you will enjoy years of use with our covers.

The process of ordering is quite simple. You simply fill out an order form on our website, submit it, and we will send you an estimate. If you approve the estimate, we convert it to an invoice you can pay online with a credit card. Once we receive payment, we will put your cover into our production schedule. Current lead times are approximately 30-days, but don’t be surprised if we get it out sooner. You can either pick the cover up at our Auburn plant, or we can deliver it to you if you’re in a populated area of N. California. We can also ship the cover via a common carrier if you’re further afield.

If you have any questions while filling out the form you may email us (preferred as we tend to be quite busy) or you may call us. Remember to submit accurate dimensions, and make sure you put the side the folds as the B side. You may also include your tubs year, make, and model, which we will cross reference with our templates if we have one on file for your tub. We offer a template on the order pages you can print out to measure your radius corners to make sure you get them measured. Please see the Guide To Ordering Spa Covers, also in the blue section on the order pages.  Keep in mind we are not responsible for covers ordered with the wrong dimensions, including the orientation of the A & B sides.

Foam Choices

Standard covers come with a 4”-2” tapered 1lb foam, which has an R value of 13.6.  This is ideal in milder climates and is our bestselling option due to cost.

2 lb foam is used when more strength and durability is required, and on our Sunbrella covers to aid in longevity.  The R value of 2 lb foam is 15.

Both 1 lb and 2 lb foams are available in a 5”-3” taper which raises the R values to 17.4 for 1 lb and 20 for 2 lb foams.  This is ideal in cooler climates and when more strength is required.

Our 3 lb foam option gives an R value of 15.3 in its sole configuration of a 4”-2” taper, which is nominally higher than 2 lb 4’-2” foam but provides a higher tensile strength.  This is a great choice for areas with snow loads, especially when constant snow removal from the cover isn’t always possible.

Sunbrella® Covers

Durable and easy to care for, our spa covers made with Sunbrella material won’t fade like other fabrics. Sunbrella fabric’s color is an integral part of the fiber, it cannot be washed out or bleached by the sun, rain or chlorine.
